I know Raj Sen (or Raj kaku as I call him) since my childhood days in the early 1990's at the Alekhine chess club where I was a student and he was one of the trainers.
The book which you are reading now is not for beginners but for the advanced players as the title suggests.
Working with the Openings is a continuous process for chess players of all levels. What the author has tried to do here is to cover a vast area to give the readers some thematic ideas. For example the King's Indian attack -which might be a universal opening for white against most of the systems- has been covered in detail. The readers may also find some interesting ideas throughout the book for example in the openings like Sicilian Najdorf , Sicilian Scheveningen and The King's Indian defence. For those who like to go deeper, this may serve as material for further proceedings.
To my knowledge this is the very first attempt in Bengal chess where an opening book has been written. I wish the readers a very best of luck and find this book interesting so that they can continue their chess pursuit in future also.
